I didn't buy for the absorbency so can't speak about it (I have a cotton bathmat) but for the softness and beautiful color by 5 🌟Perfect size for my bathroom and the color of the "Water Spa" is calm (a more neutral light blue). I like that it is non-slip and goes well with a toilet mat. I haven't washed it yet but the inside seems durable and I have washed many of these rugs and know that the following directions (cold water, cool dry) give good results.

I bought this rug for our small guest bathroom and I love it. Photo taken after first wash, still looks great. After reading a few reviews about the pile and the peeling of the non-slip backing, I washed it in cold water on a gentle cycle and hung to dry. No problems on that front. The microfiber pile is very soft and the color matches the pictures on the web. I liked it so much that I ended up buying the same brand and style for our master bathroom. Definitely worth the money.

Overall I like the rug. I have a problem with textures sticking to skin, especially when skin is dry. I have found that the feeling of my feet gripping on this mat is much greater than previous mats I have had. Also, my regular vacuum just sucked up this carpet when I tried to run over it. So I used a hose barb instead, which was just a longer process. It took several back and forth motions through each small section I made before what I saw caught. I bought this mat for the kitchen next to the kitchen sink. It looked decent online and was a good length and navy blue, just how I wanted it. The product description says it is machine washable. On the first wash (I have a front load washing machine) it came loose around the edges. So not machine washable in my opinion. It was such a beautiful soft rug that putting it on the floor in my kitchen was a dream! The first 2 days. It really is like that. a kind of sticky fiber on the carpets where something sticks, be it food or a paper towel, it's like this carpet won't let go and even an attempt to vacuum it failed.
