Cheaper for a reason

Overall, they are okay for the price. I question the guage on some of them but have never measured any.Some are not smooth and get caught on the yarn or have a rather sharp point on the hook that can tear through the yarn. I have to work very deliberately with those hooks or just choose not to use one.Others don't have a very deep hook so the yarn is hard to grasp and keep on as you complete a stitch.I love the fact that they are metal. A couple of them have none of those issues and they work like a dream! I'm looking for a better quality metal set.
