Didn't fit! I use Eldebrock air cleaner base.

Didn't fit! I am using an Eldebrock air cleaner base, not a chip, the receiving groove machined into the adapter (ID) is the same as that of the air cleaner base. = does not fit in the groove! I'm going to make an adapter ring to use it, but if I knew I had to do it I would do the whole thing. If you are charging $15 for a 1 inch piece of aluminum tubing, please provide the exact measurements.
