: It's better to install the Logitech Gaming Software program, all the advanced settings are there, and you can edit the picture even while the camera is running with another application. The result is more or less good quality. A screenshot from a standard video capture program is attached.

All in all, the camera is great for video calls and streaming/recording of gaming sessions in which your profile is superimposed on the image of the game. There is no quality visible, but smoothness is visible. This camera is well suited for this. But if you want to record some vlogs, then it's unlikely . I think this camera is the lower limit of the quality that is acceptable in this case. But among other webboxes, it is the best (of course, there is also Brio, but it is twice as expensive). In short, a controversial model. The best among webboxes, the worst among cameras for streaming and vlogging) The software is disgusting, but in the end everything works as expected.

Pros

The specifications are very good. The camera can really shoot with the specified characteristics. Tripod included After installing standard programs, it starts working ____ : It gives a really smooth picture even in low light, the processor really can.

Cons

Damn what a short cable. If you install it on top of the monitor, it barely reaches the back wall of the system unit. Stock - about 10 cm remains. Instead of the declared cable length of 180 cm, here it is 160 cm at most, and if we take into account the cable bend at the cable base and the length of the USB port, then the useful length is 150 cm. This is not enough to put the camera on a tripod and run the cable to the front or back of the system unit. No, you can’t, of course, but just throw it directly, over the keyboard and under the elbow. Of course, this is wildly inconvenient. If the cable were at least 50cm longer, the problem would be solved. I was also very disappointed with the quality of the video out of the box. From the site, I downloaded only two recommended utilities. As a result, noise reduction blurs the face, enhancers increase the contrast at the boundaries of objects, but in the end there is no clarity. The resolution is good, and I'm sure if the software had not been written in the dungeons of Mordor, everything would have been fine, but Logitech always had problems with the software (for their steering wheel, they had to steal old drivers from the archives of technical support forums, because only one version worked). It squeezes both photos and videos so that the wolves howl and ask to be unclenched back. By the way, the standard program is not compatible with Aero and disables it. Moreover, it cannot display video from the camera in full quality, resolution and at full frame rate. At the same time, the video card is not loaded, that is, I suspect that the software stupidly does not use hardware acceleration, and tries to write and display a picture using only the processor. Video card - GTX650Ti, latest firewood.
