Beveled pads are a great design idea!
As a former Midas brake specialist these are good pads. The technician knows that beveled pads help prevent squeaking. A 45 degree beveled corner at each end of the pads reduces the chance of pad squeaking. My pads were creaking and it wasn't the low pad meter. Replaced pads with beveled pads and the squeak was gone. This brand can have such an advantage. If beveled.
