There are no instructions, but it's pretty easy to understand and use. (Clean the surface, apply to the edge of the door with the adhesive side facing the inside edge and the adhesive backing still in place, cut to length, remove one end and peel off the adhesive backing about 1 inch , reattach this edge , then slowly pull the end down the full length of the tread and press the adhesive layer behind it.) The adhesive strip doesn't stick well in the tread itself, so there are a lot of air bubbles between the adhesive strip and the plastic of the tread tread. First pierce the adhesive side with a needle so that the adhesive will hold better over time. The finished application is almost invisible on my silver car. It has already proven its effectiveness several times. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.
