Does what it intends to do but doesn't solve the problem.

I bought this to convert a 15mm thru-axle wheel to a 12mm wheel for use on a new frame. While this adapter actually reduces the axle size from 15mm to 12mm, my wheel still wouldn't fit the new frame due to a few recessed radii on the inside of the fork legs interfering with the hub axle OD. I ended up spending more money and buying new DT Swiss hub end caps which should have both a smaller outside diameter and a smaller inside diameter.
