Just not enough products for Acer H236HL VESA adapters and unfortunately this is one of them. It's currently the only one available from Revain and I had no choice but to buy it when I upgraded to a VESA mount. This product does NOT fit the monitor perfectly and just lets the monitor hang on two steel pins. . It took me a good hour of investigation to figure out what exactly was preventing this. It turned out that the steel pins on the back have small bumps and are too high compared to Acer's regular monitor mount. This will prevent the adapter from being inserted far enough into the hole for the plastic hooks to snap into place. This product looks like the material is steel, so stacking and risking the product integrity is not an option. I literally used a good, and I mean GOOD amount of force to get it in place, to the point where I was so scared I might break a few pixels. Luckily, it packs "enough" (which doesn't mean it's satisfactory or intended for that purpose) to keep the monitor awake. there are no alternatives. Amazon has a GLADIATOR product that is out of stock until June. If you can wait, instead of wasting your time and energy, wait for this product.
