I bought an E-track slot and installed it in my cargo trailer by the side door so I can remove the tire even when the trailer is full. I put the spare wheel holder on the eTrack and mounted the tire on it. Because the retainer has thin threads, it takes some time to tighten the nut onto the rim, but it also means it won't come loose while riding. I'm going to add a large washer between the nut and the rim just to add something so the nut will push against the rim and not my rim. I set it up with the tire on the bottom of the trailer so I can't tell how it will hold up trying to keep the tire off the ground. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It could have been better if they included a wing nut instead of a regular nut, but I'll do that myself. I would happily recommend this to anyone who needs a spare wheel carrier for a cargo trailer. rf
