Review on 🌀 Simplicity 120DC Protein Skimmer: Achieve Optimal Water Quality Effortlessly by Rosemary Veliz

Love this skimmer! I have had many skimmers over the past 12 years of reef keeping and none of them have worked as well as the Simplicity. The first thing that catches your eye is the build quality. It's durable and very well built. I'm an acrylic fabricator and I can tell a good weld when I see it. Took about 5 days to break in and now it's really pulling out a good Skimmat. Now I have to empty the cup every other day. The pump runs very quietly - the only noise you hear comes from the air silencer. While researching a skimmer for my latest build I came across the Simplicity brand on RC and then started looking for it. Although performance reviews were good. Customer service reviews have been great! I wanted a brand that supports their product and has spare parts. If that's important to you, Simplicity is the best skimmer. The only thing I would change is the size of the 120DC collector shell. The skimmer works so well that it fills the cup every other day. It has an in-cup sink, but my pan walls are too high to use. I run the skimmer in 8 inches of water and it's awesome.
