Review on πŸ”Œ VIZIO XWR100 High Definition Dual-Band Wireless Internet Router by Wayne Espinoza

Update: turned into a piece of junk

I chose this router because I just like testing other products from the company that interest me. So far the price is good and it serves its purpose. My old WRT54GS router kept shutting down and I had to restart it to connect to the internet. This product solved that problem, now I don't get disconnected anymore and I've noticed an improvement in my wireless connection and some speed. The best thing I liked about this product is that setting router password is incredibly easy. Initially when setting everything up I had a small problem, but it wasn't a big problem. My dad's laptop wouldn't connect to the router, but I found that all I had to do was update the driver for the wireless device in his laptop and the problem was soon resolved. The second problem was that my family members kept complaining that they couldn't connect to the internet. The problem was that while the computers were trying to connect to the router labeled Linksys, they never scanned the computers for the new Vizio router name. So be sure to find a new router when you buy one, and update your wireless devices' routers if you're having connectivity issues. Some other features that I personally don't like about this router are the USB feature in the router which is really useless for backups. I want Vizio to release new firmware for the router. Report a problem with this product on the website so they can update the firmware and fix the problem as I don't want any new problems with this product. If Vizio did this, I would be more comfortable with Vizio trying to please its customers. In general this is a good product. Update: Became a piece of crap very soon, now I have an ASUS router, much better than this crap
