Review on 🚦 MAXXHAUL 70205 12V Submersible Trailer Light Kit - All LED, Red by Joseph Pudic

This kit was only a year old and started blowing fuses in my new car. After an hour of troubleshooting, I found that the driver's side taillight had shorted out. Further troubleshooting revealed that the small light bulb on the side wiring had a short circuit. The wiring is glued to the LED board and cannot be fixed. The only option is to completely replace the lantern, sold in pairs, or remove the bulb. I decided to remove the bulb. My other complaint is that the side marker plastic is falling apart on either side. As mentioned, the wiring and harness are terrible. I replaced all the wiring and installed the LED connector. The plug has indicators on the plug that let you know which circuits are working properly. I made a holder for side markers. These mods cost the same if not more than this kit. While I've found workarounds, the average person would be very upset if they had to double the cost and invest their time and ingenuity to extend the life of this product. I work from home so I have time. Buy a kit with heavier gauge wires and stronger plastic for interested buyers. I do not recommend this product.
