Worked great on my 4K monitor.
. The remote switch connects via USB and I added a USB 2.0 extension to it with no problem. There's a backlight on the remote, but it's a subtle light that's not distracting when it's in front of you. I was able to connect 2 USB hubs to ports for all my devices that need to move from computer to computer (camera, USB audio, speakerphone, headphones, keyboard, mouse, and game controllers). I've used it on a MacBook with an M1 chip, a Windows laptop and a Windows gaming PC.
