I use this on my 2004 Wrangler TJ. It goes perfectly with the top, which is what I need it for. I currently have a safari style case and it fits that too. It's a thinner material and I think it will hold up well for a bit of rain. Everything else could go through with this, but that's just my guess at the moment. If I get caught in the rain while using it I will post an update. I currently use it all day when parked at work to protect the interior from the sun and dust/pollen and it does the job perfectly. For this price I am 100% satisfied. I think I paid $40 through Revain. I was concerned about the elastic straps/hooks which other reviewers said were cheap and broke easily. I'll admit they aren't made for heavy use, but for now they can handle very hot (100+ degrees) direct sun quite well and are still in good condition. UPDATE 6/7/2015 The first summer rain just happened and it's a DRAIN rain. 10 minutes of very heavy, prolonged downpour. This cover did the job perfectly and kept the inside of my Wrangler 100% dry. There was a small pool of water but it didn't get in. I am very impressed.
