I was very happy to receive these wicks! Thanks to those who shared their tips. I soaked them in olive oil for an hour and vacuumed them twice to get a jar a little over 3 inches in diameter. I have tried many wicks for this jar but could not achieve a fully melted puddle with any of the other wicks. I burned it for just over 1 hour, the flame height is perfect and makes a subtle noise all the time. I can't be happier! Wood wicks can be pricey, but they're reasonable and, hey, premium shipping. I would also like to point out that they arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Many thanks to the seller and the people who gave advice! Oh I use igi6006 with FO 8%
