This is a very well made frying pan that is so much easier to use and care for than the usual non-stick cookware. The pan is fairly light-weight and is generously sized with deep sides and the stainless steel exterior has a lovely mirrored finish. The handle is heavy and sturdy plus it stays cool to the touch. The interior non-stick coating allows me to use little to no oil when cooking plus it really does resist scratching when used with metal utensils, which is a great & totally unexpected feature. I really haven't had much luck with non-stick cookware over the years -- it just doesn't last and I feel as if I am constantly replacing expensive pieces that are no longer non-stick after just a short period of time or are all scratched up whereas my stainless steel and cast iron holds up for decades and still looks great. My husband and kids prefer non-stick over my more traditional cookware so I pick up the occasional piece here and there when I find a good price. I had no intentions of buying pricey non-stick skillets ever again, but then I ran across this frying pan by Ninja and I thought it was worth a try. I'm familiar with the quality of the brand and I was not disappointed with this order. Right now this frying pan completely exceeds my expectations and definitely deserves a five star rating. I don't expect any problems to arise, but of course I haven't had this pan long enough to comment on the permanence or long term performance of the non-stick coating. If something happens and my opinion changes in the future, I will update this review. The current price of $49.99 seems very reasonable for this well designed, quality frying pan.
