This is an update of a previous review. Very rarely do I spend time on it, but here it is. I bought it almost a year ago and it has been working great for a few months. USB ports got finicky over time and stopped working with some devices. After I posted the review the company came forward, but after a series of bad experiences with third-party accessories I didn't bother to proceed and just stuck with the product and crossed my fingers when I had to use the USB. Fast forward to now and the founder personally contacted me and went to great lengths to fix this issue for me. I now have a hub that works fine with all the devices I use with it (including those that didn't work on the other). If this changes in the coming months I'll definitely update my review, but so far it's working great. The vast majority of reviews here indicate that this product works well and as an avid tech buyer, I understand that there is always a 1 in 10,000 chance of a product being defective - you buy enough products and it will happen to you. bundle up. I trace my original problem back to this. I was also very impressed by the personal contact with the founder. As I said, I have purchased many tech products and this is the only time someone outside of support has actually attempted to contact me about an issue. This level of care stands out and genuinely encourages me to keep CharJenPro in mind when looking for current or future tech accessories. The design is as seen in the photos. The color goes perfectly with the MacBook Pro Space Gray and they are very lightweight devices. The variety of ports is really helpful, especially USB A and HDMI in one device, and will come in handy as I delve even deeper into the world of photography. Overall I highly recommend this product. You can be assured that it is made to high design standards and that CharJenPro executives genuinely care about their customers. In an online market full of terrible USB-C hubs, this is probably one of your best options.
