I wasn't enthusiastic about the purchase. I bought a giant rock for my bearded dragon. The packaging was fine, but when the stone was removed from the packaging, a number of small chips and small parts fell off. The stone didn't crack, so I decided to give it a try. The instructions were common sense. you stay and wait It takes a while to fully warm up and feels warm in some places. Some places seemed really warmer than others. I put him in my dragon terrarium and at first glance he was sitting on him quite normally. After a while and since then he's avoided the rock completely. I started reading the reviews and found other people saying there were hotspots. I'm more than certain that he was avoided for that reason. I have since unplugged it and am now the sad owner of an unused heat stone.
