This DII Everyday kitchen towel set isn't the fanciest or fluffiest kitchen towel I've ever owned, but it gets the job done. The towels are tighter woven than most kitchen towels I own. This means they're a bit thinner and less absorbent than most, but they seem to be of pretty good quality. I'm somewhat neutral on the towels - they work but there's nothing special about them. My wife really liked the combination of design and color. Please note that according to the care instructions, the towels are "machine washable; simply wash in cold water on gentle cycle and tumble dry low; do not bleach or dry in a hot dryer." I do not wash towels like this. All my cotton towels are washed on the gentle cycle with bleach in hot water and tumble dried on a high setting. These towels did not appear to be damaged (I have them washed before first use). They may have shrunk a little, but not much, and they may be a little more wrinkled, but that's about it. I love clean towels and for me that means hot water. Recommended as a basic kitchen towel set.
