Review on iRobot Authentic Replacement Parts: Roomba Integrated Dock Charger with North American Line Cord - 4452369, Black - Compatible with Roomba 500/600/700/800/900 Series Robots by Aisha Quinn

I bought a new docking station as mine had worn out over the years. iRobot changed the dock a bit and I was happy to get a newer version. 6 months later both of my Roomba robots were having trouble docking with this thing. You find the station itself okay, but turn around and can't find the contacts. They'll toggle on and off multiple times, rolling across the room as they try to find the right angle to dock. The main Roomba that lives on this dock even drained its battery trying to dock. Even if I give up, take the Roomba and place it directly on the contacts, it doesn't find them to dock. I often go downstairs to Roomba who's wandering around the room because after sitting on this dock for an hour he's decided he can't find it anymore and is trying to dock again. My old station which is already 3 years old (obviously not the one I replaced) works perfectly. I cleaned the contacts on both the machine and the station. It just doesn't work anymore. Also, I often get error 5 stating Roomba has a loading error. Changing every 6 months is too expensive. upset. No longevity.
