Saw this product in one of my craft classes. I have been a paper cutter for over 25 years and interested. It's great to be able to draw/print the warp threads and see the sewing lines through the parchment for easier placement and more accurate pre-cutting of the patches. I think this product might be overpriced for a large project - newsprint or very thin carbon paper is almost as good - but if money weren't an issue I'd use it exclusively. If money is an issue, buy a pack to use on very small or otherwise complex items. You can be addicted!
