Review on ๐Ÿถ Garmin Sport PRO Bundle: 1-Handed Dog Training Collar & Handheld for Up to 3 Dogs - Tone & Vibration by Cindy Foster

Revainrating 5 out of 5

When used correctly, this thing is a game changer!

We have a 7 month old Chocolate Labrador puppy who is breaking our invisible fence. Instead of going broke and buying a new stubborn stealth dog that may or may not work, I decided to go with an eco collar because I felt it would be a more cost effective way to see if our willie could go with one bit of energy would exercise. various options but decided on a Garmin Sport Pro based on other reviews and that I needed someone in the $200 range that would last and not be new. In general, I am very satisfied with the assembly and the first impressions of the device. Here's what I really like: - The ability to beep or vibrate before setting. With proper training, your pup should eventually start responding to this without the need for correction. - Waterproof. Don't swim Willie more than 20 times a year, but he's already comfortable in the wet snow. no need to worry - LED lights. I thought it was a gimmick when I bought it, but it's really nice to be able to give Willie some ground effects so I can see him walking in the woods at night. - analogue, 10-step correction. I wouldn't buy a digital dial - too much fiddling around and looking at it when setting levels. On the ice, you'll get comfortable and know your entry level, which you can easily establish without looking. Garmin has tutorial videos on U-Tube that are helpful. Now to work. At first the puppy didn't feel anything and I found the collar to be tight enough. After doing a little more research, I replaced the short pins with long ones and really tightened them. I found that by 2 am Willie would notice something (no pain or squeaks). I can use this for general study without distractions. For strong temptations/distractions (such as the urge to run after another dog or person), level 4 usually helps. The goal is to get attention without startling or startling the dog. The maximum I had to use was 5 and now in most cases there are multiple beeps and it either stays or comes depending on the command. Rope. Just this morning I took him for a walk and the maggots were playing on the frozen pond. He usually just walked away to greet her and everyone. Run everywhere without coming back. Until it was 39 minutes cat and mouse and I'm ready to lose it. A few beeps and he didn't even try to approach them, praised him and we went on and played in the woods. This racquet really changed us both. When used correctly, it will NOT harm, frighten, or change the dog's behavior beyond gaining control and confidence. The goal is praise, NOT punishment. I highly recommend this product. Cons: I wish the battery could have lasted longer. I sometimes leave it on during the day when I'm around and by the evening the battery is almost empty. It looks like it's running on an LED, but it beeps and takes off properly. The collar is long enough to hitch a Holstein cow. I pinched it, marked it, left about 6 inches for growth, and then trimmed it. Overall very satisfied and would recommend spending time off leash with our pup. Pictured is a puppy with a collar. Not disturbing at all, even if you snuggle up to each other.
