This is the second item the other I have 4 years old the remote control no longer works not the battery so I have another $300 issued

For $300 you'd think they would include a belt clip or some way to attach this thing to you. If you want to train your dog successfully, you need quick access to the controls. Without a belt clip (or some other way to keep one handy), you and Garmin are setting your dog up for failure.

collar works great. Adjustments and settings are easy to make. water protection. Good battery life. Serves its purpose excellently. The collar part is rubber but durable and waterproof. The remote control is the perfect size to put in your pocket or hold in your hand. The beep is loud and clear. Vibrations are strong. The shock part works as intended. The low to strong setting makes a big difference in strength. Well built!

(70 lb Labrador Pit Bull) I used a Dogtra collar before switching to this Garmin collar. I've only used the bark limiter a couple of times, and I've used 〽️. Level 4 only, I'm not going any higher. Now he is very calm, he lies down and cuddles a lot, but he will still play with you, but he is much easier to calm down. I usually just use the beep and it usually gets his attention. I love this product for training large dogs.

Bought this to replace a much larger unit I was using when training dogs for hunting attempts. The weight is a great relief. Has no range, but is still suitable for hiking. What takes some getting used to is that on my old device I used "2 or 3" for correction while this one uses "6" for the same level. I don't think this is a criticism as the old device was probably plugged in a bit hotter than needed to learn. I would buy this again!

I worked with a professional trainer to learn how to use this collar. It's definitely effective, but I can see how overuse can easily turn into violence. Before I put it on our dog (3yrs, 25lbs, rescue) the trainer asked me to hold it and use it on myself to see how it looked. I think everyone should do this exercise. Overall it works well and is great for curbing our pup's anxiety. But again, don't use this by accident. Pain is no substitute for exercise.

Exactly what I was looking for. Being able to train multiple dogs with one remote while you switch between them is great. The remote control and collars are durable. After a quick read of the brochure I was able to easily understand the functions and start using the remote control and collars. The battery life is great, as is the range.
