Update: I couldn't find the length of screw I needed at the big store but another trip to Ace Hardware and a little detective work on the part of the seller - I found what I needed - a 2 3/4 inch long screw. This took me 5 minutes as a beginner to install the lock, interior and exterior handles while retaining the original internal mechanism. overall win! Very happy. Original post: The inner wooden handle on my sliding glass patio door has finally snapped off. Considering the sliders came with the house and it is 36 years old I was concerned it was time to spend big to replace the sliding doors which are otherwise in fairly good condition. Arrived quickly, well packaged, all items included. A shorter and a longer set of screws are included to connect the inside and outside handle. Unfortunately, even the longer set was about half an inch shorter for my doors. I was able to temporarily reuse my old screws and simply screwed the inner handle onto the existing old parts. I'm hoping to find the right size screws for the door and see if the entire replacement kit fits and works, but it's too early to tell.
