Okay, this won't make your M.2 drive faster or take up more space. Those are really the only things one could ask for. BUT, that little heatsink is pretty cool - haha, got it?! Although really. It looks very nice inside the case and cools my M.2 Samsung 950 Pro by about 10-12 degrees on average. I wasn't too concerned about temps in the mid to high 40's, but temps in the mid 30's are better :) Installation was easy enough. Power off the device, remove the M.2 drive, cut the thermal pads to length, add the thermal pad and backplate, thermal pad and heatsink, clip it together, reseat the drive and boot She. I will say that the clamps were very tight. Just make sure you don't touch the heatsink and try to tighten the clamps enough that you break the drive in half. I ended up putting them on and obviously didn't damage my drive otherwise I wouldn't be typing this now because it's my boot/OS drive. Note that on my Asus ROG Maximus VIII Gene motherboard, I had to move the GPU to an x8 slot to be able to see the drive/heatsink. However, my GPU performance is exactly the same and was not affected by not using the x16 slot. I didn't check if it would fit in the x16 slot above the heatsink drive because I like the way it looks! Most other motherboards won't have this problem, but since it's a mATX in a fairly small package, I used it. Works great, looks great. TIP: Do not fully attach the backplate (where the screw is) or it will be difficult to reinstall the drive. There's a cutout on the back to bypass the motherboard stand, but you'll need to add a few more millimeters to make reinstalling easier.
