I use this substrate for my 2 turtles (turtle and furrow). I have used forest soil substrate, beet and other coir substrates and this is by far my favorite. 1.) It smells nice and my turtles can easily walk or burrow in it. the turtles stay clean when I take them out of my terrarium (to clean the tank and put in a new substrate); I don't breathe dust and the room stays clean. That was the biggest problem I had with other pads, they are too dusty. 3.) That's a great price for a product. I had to buy 2 of the 24 liter bags to fill my 4 foot by 2 1/2 foot terrarium. Of course I will buy again!
