This is an attractive box for the price. This is my first drawer, but it's easy to clean thanks to the top door and slide-out bottom drawer. As for the tray, I took it out, cleaned it in the shower and returned it once it was dry. Both doors (top and side) can be closed to keep your pet safe inside. The clamp is light enough that children can open the door if necessary. However, the wood was slightly warped along the two smaller sides so they didn't line up evenly, making screwing difficult. The misalignment is also noticeable in the top corners, so it doesn't look as pretty as it could otherwise. not large enough for food bowl AND toilet (garbage continued to contaminate food and water bowls). I ended up going with the Laifug wooden cat house and it suited our needs much better (although it had its own assembly issues).
