We love how this box looks in our home! Much nicer to see this in our home than a regular metal box. This drawer is solid and I like the spring in the latch. The assembly was very easy, everything just fit. The tray is easy to remove and there is nothing on the bottom if you want to take it out completely, the slot is small enough that the dogs can't get out. The drawer itself is very pretty. The wires aren't the strongest as I can bend them a bit, but not bad. The wood structure looks very nice. My dog is a bit scared so he is actually scratching the wood rendering him useless. OK done. The three threads that go into the wood I had to substitute for the screws and fasten because as soon as I started screwing them in, I came out right away. Another problem is the front door. I love the look of this wooden pet cage. The wooden edges go perfectly with the wood of my furniture. Pretty easy to assemble and the screws line up pretty well. The plastic box closure should hold tight and it will be difficult for a smart dog to open. The box is heavy when assembled and a beautiful piece of furniture. This is an attractive box for the price. This is my first drawer, but it's easy to clean thanks to the top door and slide-out bottom drawer. As for the tray, I took it out, cleaned it in the shower and returned it once it was dry. Both doors (top and side) can be closed to keep your pet safe inside.
