Wheel dulls easily on grinding wheels

handy to use but the tungsten blade dulled VERY quickly. It started out great and the wood was easy to shape but within 20 minutes of use it became dull on the outer half of the wheel. The petal discs are of decent quality and seem to be holding up well.
