Review on 🔌 Surco 1206 Universal Fold-Up Adapter: Enhanced 2" Receiver Compatibility by Scott Larson

Very well made item, easy to use and looks good. As soon as I got it I attached it to my hitch without a carry basket, call me weird but it looks good on its own! Of course I bought it for my basket and I have to say it makes my basket easier to install as I don't have to bend down to attach the basket. There is also more leeway when attaching the pin to the vehicle. Another reviewer on Amazon stated that instead of a nut and bolt, they installed a locking pin that secures the basket holder to the adapter. Not sure if the locking pin would be as strong as the nut and bolt, I took it a step further and contacted Surco and they said it would be fine. , the adapter makes a lot of noise when driving over bumps etc. Even louder when the trunk is folded, so I only drive with it folded. It's just noise and you could probably get rid of the noise by securing it with ratchet straps. I don't drive very far so I just live with the noise. When parking, I no longer have to worry about whether a parking space is free. long enough to turn on my operator. As this is the main reason I bought it I can say that I am very very satisfied with this item.
