Excellent quality product according to the tongue metal. Very quick and easy to fit to my luggage basket. Trunk by about a foot - I can almost open my trunk when the luggage basket is flipped up.in vertical position it swings.I plan to find something to wrap it around to make it a little bigger for a tighter fit.

I bought this along with a 4 inch riser for my car so I can leave my trunk in my car for a couple of weeks for camping and other stuff I do would have. wear. Eventually, without the 4" riser, I would have had to throw everything on the road. The pin that keeps the trunk 'flat' needs extra support closer to the car so that the entire trunk sits slanted down even when unloaded. Unfortunately, I missed the return window on this one, so it will most likely just end up in the trash heap.

First I installed this on a 2014 FJ Cruiser with an aftermarket 2" Curt hitch along with a 1040100 Pro-Series Cargo Platform purchased from Revain. Very well made item, easy to use and looks good. As soon as I got it I attached it to my hitch without a carry basket, call me weird but it looks good on its own! Of course I bought it for my basket and I have to say it makes my basket easier to install as I don't have to bend down to attach the basket. Good for the first time: The processing quality is very good. The basket holder didn't wobble at all while we were driving or parking.
