Review on 🔌 Surco 1206 Universal Fold-Up Adapter: Enhanced 2" Receiver Compatibility by Alonzo Wilkins

First I installed this on a 2014 FJ Cruiser with an aftermarket 2" Curt hitch along with a 1040100 Pro-Series Cargo Platform purchased from Revain. Build quality is solid and exactly as advertised - if using a LOCK, be sure to get a 1/2 inch lock! I was excited about a few things: (1) When installing with the Pro Series 1040100 (not sure if this is the case without the 1206) the FJ's rear door released the compartment and opened fully! (2) Since the 1206 further extends the trunk from the rear of the car, there is a gap between the FJ and the trunk to allow me to stand/work/load the rear of the FJ! (Even with load on the platform) PERFECTION! (3) When folded, only the inside of the platform frame, which becomes the ground when folded, ONLY touches the spare tire cover - nothing a piece of black foam insulation won't take care of to prevent tire damage.
