Review on Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones, black by Wiktor Prusek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, a pleasure to use.

As much as I listened to and chose headphones in the salons - probably few people chose. :) I spent a total of 6 hours in dr. Head until I finally bought Momentum 3. Compared with Sony WH-1000XM4, Bowers & Wilkins PX7, Bose NC 700, Dali iO 6 iron, JBL Club One and some others, which I immediately dismissed due to inconvenience. Sennheiser, Bose and Sony made it to the final. And it was a difficult choice! Ergonomics and comfort on the head are plus/minus comparable. The best noise cancellation from Sony. Managed by Bose. The sound is definitely Sennheiser. But with the best sound - Sinks are the heaviest of all and have the worst noise reduction! But nevertheless, in this difficult choice, Sennheiser outweighed me in the end! And that's why: I decided that the heaviness and not the most convenient buttons are a matter of habit. And in the previous Parrot Zik, I used the noise reduction a little - it puts a lot of pressure on my head. But the sound is, in general, the most important parameter for headphones! By the way, in order to fully unlock the potential, I recommend listening not only to your favorite music when choosing, but also demo videos for home theaters (4K / 5.1). This is a great tester! Especially if you plan to watch movies like me. At this point, the Sinks simply went away from everyone else. Many scold their short battery life. I consider this parameter non-critical, oddly enough. The smartphone still needs to be charged more often. At least once a day, at night, in any way, he is on charge. What prevents both devices from charging always up to 100% at once? And given the ability to listen to music directly via a USB TYPE-C cable, the issue of battery life basically disappears. It is not clear why no one else has it implemented. The type-c cord is always with you to charge your smartphone. And now it's like an audio / headphone charger. It is very convenient! Many have pointed out that Shinki is uncomfortable to wear around the neck. To be honest, of those tested, absolutely everything on the neck seemed uncomfortable to me. But these can be added. :) And separately: BIG thanks to the authors of the reviews - they helped me a lot to make a choice! In my own review, I noted only the most significant for myself.

Pros
  • + Sound. The best in the range up to 35 thousand (subjectively) + Reproduce sound via type-c (the only one of all analogues ! ) + Folding design (it is also in the minuses) + Design (for an amateur)
Cons
  • - Heavier and less compact than the closest analogues - Soft case - Mediocre noise reduction - Control buttons - you have to get used to them tactile "blind" - Folding design - because. metal, can pinch the skin - The size fixing mechanism has become loose for a year and one of the headphones is constantly slipping.
