I got this to help me live with my cat, BUY IT! if you have a difficult animal.

I got this to be able to keep my cat as the whole family is very frustrated with her. I love this cat and 75% of the time shes a sweet love cuddly and so sweet but then there that 25% that makes our lives a living hell. I know she would not be able to find another home and if she did it wouldnt last as she is very hard to deal with. She is a Bengal and before you jump down my back I was given her and didnt know anything about the breed hell I didnt even know their were purebred cats I thoughts cats were just cats as we've always had shelter cats. When she is bad she is BAD! If we get a new bag of food she chews through the bag even though her bowl is always full. She gets on our table the second we turn our back and steals our food off the table she has even taken food off the stove thats cooking. Shes lucky to be alive. She eats all our plants which now we cant have. She has destroyed our carpeting. And peed on a BRAND NEW couch when we weren't home. It soaked down inside and nothing would clean it we had to get rid of it. My husband was ready to throw her out the door that night. And no amount of play or love will calm this. She also steals our dogs food every time we put it down and shes a blind and deaf 16 year old yorkie so she cant protect her food. She tries to run out the door every time we open it and worst of all she howls ALL NIGHT. We have had to close her out of our room at night because she would poop or pee in our bed with us sleeping in it. With 2 clean litter boxes. And lay on our faces. So we've started closing the door and she will stand in front of the door all night and howl. Not meow its it a long drawn out howl. And I am a crazy light sleeper. So with about a month of no sleep im loosing my mind and decided to look for something to help someone suggested a training collar and I found this. I put it on her in a nice sweet way so she wouldn't be scared of it. We don't want it as a torture device just a training tool. I have all the settings set to the lowest settings and I tested them all on myself before putting it on her.So not even 20 minutes later she was on the counter taking food I pressed the vibrate, she looked confused but didnt seem to effect her. I set it up one to 2. Then again she kind of acted confused but got down so I figured it a success. Then she tried to take my dogs food I vibrated again and she turned around right away. Then daddy came in and was carrying something in the house she ran for the door I vibrated she still got out the door I did the shock on setting 1 which remember I tested and feels nothing like a shock more like a strong vibration. She stopped turned around and ran back in.Now her going outside is not safe at all where we live we live right off a hwy in the middle of the country and have hawks owls coyotes etc she wouldnt make it a day. So I see this as a life saving device. It hasn't even been a day but I cannot sing its praises enough. Im excited to be able to sleep tonight. I will update as I have it longer. So far I give it a 5 stars and a thank you as it will secure my babys place in my home for the rest of her life. Im hoping a week or so and she'll understand and we can take it off.The only cons:-Its a little larger than I had hoped but is pretty light so not that big of a deal-Also for it being advertised for small dogs the collar is HUGE it would fit an elephant. I had tomake my own holes for it to fit her.-Also the width of the collar is very large Im thinking an inch, much to big for her neck so her slide on tag wouldnt fit on it.So the cons are the size is just to large for a "small" animal collar. Otherwise its a God send.

Pros
  • It's affordable price point makes it an accessible training tool for any pet owner looking to improve the behavior of their furry best friend
Cons
  • The collar may interfere with the dog's natural instincts and cause confusion or anxiety.
