Factory Fresh - Made in the USA!

While shopping for fuel filters I noticed that many of the "famous brands" are now made in India, Mexico and/or China (mainly China) and I have been relying on the FRAM Filter leaves were also produced in China. Too many Americans are unemployed these days so I went with genuine Motorcraft parts in the hopes they would at least be made in the USA. BINGO, we have a winner! For those interested, you'll be pleased to know that both the Motorcraft #FG800A Fuel Filter and the Motorcraft #FT100 Transmission Filter are made in the USA! I ordered both to restore my 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis V-8 - and saved money on free shipping. My parts arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Includes: One (1) FG800A Fuel Filter. Two (2) nylon retaining clips. Note. The #FG800 fuel filter fits many 1983 thru 2007 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models. These filters cannot be cleaned and/or reused and the Ford factory repair manual states that #FG800A fuel filters should be replaced every 24,000 miles (35,000 km). A partially clogged fuel filter will cause the fuel pump to work harder and overheat, which can lead to dangerous pressure build-up in the fuel tank and evaporative emission systems during summer driving, and one major problem: fuel pump failure! To be on the safe side, but not to be overly cautious, I change my fuel filters every year, regardless of mileage - I've never had a fuel pump leak, clog, or fail. Ford Motor Co. recommends replacing the #FT100 transmission filter every 30,000 miles (48,000 km). I follow this recommendation and use Valvoline synthetic gear oil passed through B&M 13,000 BTU gear coolant. *Transmission fluid and coolant available from Revain* Don't worry!
