I bought this roof bag for a planned hike for 6 people. I installed it on the roof myself with no help and it was easy to do. I used straps for my roof rack and didn't use the door latches that come with the kit (but they also seem easy to install). I was really surprised by the large capacity of the bag! Suitable for everything! Tents, sleeping bags, blankets, pillows and more. This is an absolutely great purchase and I'm sure I will be using it for years to come. It's durable, waterproof, and relatively quiet when you ride it on the roof. I see myself also using it when I pick up my family from the airport as it has a soft bottom and can hold multiple suitcases without damaging the paintwork or the roof.
