I was attracted by the novelty in the form of metal ice cubes, it's a cool thing. Nice topic of conversation, if you will, icebreaker. It took me less time than mine. I love that they come with tray tongs and a lid which makes them easy to dose and less likely to get lost in the freezer. When I first took them out of the freezer they were so cold they were a little frosty and scared me a little that if they touched my tongue they would stick (to mimic a kid hanging on a flagpole sticks 😯). When I first used them in a glass of Scotch Whiskey I didn't think they would work. Then I realized that since they don't float like ice, they only cool what's at the bottom of the glass. If you stir a little or just swirl the glass, you'll start sipping cold scotch 😀 . Another benefit is that they don't dilute your drink like ice does. They are easy to clean, rinsing actually seems normal.
