I bought this to detect a ground leak that triggered the gfci circuit. I modified it to disable the ground wire so I can control it individually. This splitter works great without any mods, but remember the following: - The voltage test holes are just holes to plug the meter into the hot and neutral lines. The pseudo button below these holes is . Nothing. The inscription 1x 10x only applies when looking at the device from above (with voltage test holes). On the back, the lettering is upside down and the 1x 10x slots are on the neutral line. Pretty stupid bug that they didn't fix. Therefore only 3 stars
