Performance Tool M963 1/2 F x 3/8 F The impact adapter is a great adapter and has served me well. Spring. it almost went back to Revain as I couldn't remove the "anti-theft" from the tool. You cut out some small pieces, and the adapter should, in theory, just pop out. no Was it removed with pliers? no Did the vise and pliers remove it? no Remove with brute force? No, only the tag hook broke off and now the innards are still preventing me from using the adapter I need to use NOW! Went to a reliable milling machine and I bore the damn thing out. This goes beyond stupidity [sic]. In fact, the frustration reached galactic proportions and would have cursed an angel. The tool is well made, but I'm deducting two stars for the horrible, frustrating, and apparently faulty "anti-theft device".
