"Performance Tool " lol

This thing literally broke on the second nut. Save money and buy a quality adapter. I hate to be one of those people who give one star reviews but wow. I bought a master adapter and it worked like a charm.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Crumpled

Works well, good price

That's a third of the price of the big names. I cracked some big names. I needed to replace it urgently so I bought it. They work great. They hold sockets well and stay on the instrument. No disappointments. Very important

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

It's affordable and works well.

There is some play when used on a jackhammer, enough that I wouldn't recommend using it on one. I had no problem using it with the 18mm short hex head on my 1/2 inch battery wheel hub remover on a Volvo. It's affordable and works well.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Stupid stupid plastic tag

Yes I watched the video on how to remove the tag and yes I did cut with wire cutters at the point indicated and NO the tag did not come off after turning it around Rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. I had to place the adapter (1/2"F to 3/4"M) in a vise and use a LARGE pair of vise clamps on the plastic yoke to finally pry it out. Now I have a brand new scratched instrument! Whoever came up with that stupid label should get unemployment benefits. First and last purchase from this company.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrade available

The packaging sucks but the product is good.

I am so glad I read the reviews on this product and many warned how difficult it would be to unbox. If I went blind, I'd be furious at how much effort it takes. I've included a picture of all the tools needed to unbox this thing and it took a full 15 minutes. I bought this so I can use a breaker to loosen a bolt so I can change the oil myself during this pandemic. Haven't used it yet but it fits and is what I wanted! - 1 star because of the packaging.

Pros
  • Hand Tool
Cons
  • So far so good

Break bar life saver!

I use this because I have a 3/4 inch breaker that has saved my life more than once. Without this little adapter my 1/2" sockets would be useless and I would have to buy all the sizes I need for the breaker I need to have and it's going to cost me quite a bit for each one. Just yesterday my square key broke off at the socket. I pulled out my pry bar, put on the adapter, plugged in the correct 1/2" socket and in the end it did a better job than the 4-way! I know I'll break the socket before I use

Pros
  • allen key
Cons
  • not reliable

Nice adapter if you can pull out the anti-theft part.

Performance Tool M963 1/2 F x 3/8 F The impact adapter is a great adapter and has served me well. Spring. it almost went back to Revain as I couldn't remove the "anti-theft" from the tool. You cut out some small pieces, and the adapter should, in theory, just pop out. no Was it removed with pliers? no Did the vise and pliers remove it? no Remove with brute force? No, only the tag hook broke off and now the innards are still preventing me from using the adapter I need to use NOW! Went to a…
