So I ordered a stein and they sent me these martinis. I might have thought about being out of stock, but the box says 'Martini Glasses' and the little barcode sticker says 'Martini Glasses' so I won't do that. I will keep them and order them again and see what happens. Now for the review, keep in mind that these aren't the ones I wanted, but I won't be biased. They are very strong, it's nice to hold something substantial in my hands. I have granite countertops and regular glasses that I have to be careful with when I place them. This, there will be no problem. They hold 8 ounces of liquid, maybe 8-1/2 if you fill them to the brim. However, the issue I have with the lenses is their actual shape. Yes, they're tapered, which is fine, but the base itself is pretty small and can be difficult to put on unless you're holding it by the edge. Also, I almost knocked this thing over once from picking it up, and I only had them for about 45 minutes. I think it would be difficult to use them casually, they would have to go to a party or something where you want a little pizzazz. They fit your hand well if you hold them the way they're supposed to, but a person with large hands will have trouble fitting them unless they're holding them by the edge. If they increased the size of the base by 50% I think they would be better. If you always walk around with it in hand like you're carrying your drink to a party, that's no problem. UPDATE: Second order of cocktail glasses actually delivered cocktail glasses. Everything in them is the same as others except they are cocktail glasses and not easily knocked over. UPDATE: After about 3 weeks with the cups, the paint started peeling off. It's nothing more than a very thin sheet of tinted plastic. The tint of car windows is a good description of their thickness. It may differ in colors but I don't use the green ones that were accidentally sent to me so I can't tell. This does not change anything about the function of the cup, which is very good. Only if you want the color to stay on the mug do they need to be handled with care. Added a photo of the peeled coating.
