We bought these in 2018 when we first received our rescue parrot and they are still like new although we use them almost daily to trim the millet in his cell . Our budgie can't get millet unless I cut it into 1/3 pieces (life-size sprigs of millet scare him). These clamps are ideal for cut millet sprigs. They are strong, have a good firm grip and fit well between the bars of the cage without wobbling or slipping. Easy to clean, just rinse under hot tap. We are very happy with these clips, as is our budgie. Compared to other popular brands we tried, this one is the best.
