These are great little clips for placing things in a birdcage. They work with both horizontal and vertical cage bars and hold a piece of broccoli very well. Also supports a bird using broccoli as a perch. :)

Cage bar size or cage bar thickness not specified anywhere. When trying to install one of the "Universal Bird Cage Holders" it broke as my 1/2" spaced cage bars were too thick for it. If your cage has 1/2" bar spacing and a cage with thicker ones rods is.They will break when you install them.

The smallest contraption still bends the bars of my cage. This can be dangerous if the budgie's head slips off and gets stuck. It is NOT suitable for most cages. I have three cages and I had to stretch and push the bars in. Budgie cages should be 0.5 inch or less apart. Either way it works, but I have to be very careful and considered with the placement.

Very glad I got these. My "Prince" already has a millet holder, but it's not very suitable for fruit, vegetables or nuts. Here he can chirp and nibble on pistachios! One of his favourites. However, they also work well with apples and other hard fruits or vegetables. As you can see they are very secure and are held in two ways depending on the distance between the vertical bars. Enjoy.

I need food clips for my budgies. Now the pieces of fruit are held in place while my budgies, we are 7 years old, chew happily. Treats will no longer fall through the grate before they finish eating. Beautiful and strong. I can stick a piece of hard boiled egg in the slot where the holder attaches to the cage or the clip will cut through something so soft. Good fixation of apples. Happy budgies!

We bought these in 2018 when we first received our rescue parrot and they are still like new although we use them almost daily to trim the millet in his cell . Our budgie can't get millet unless I cut it into 1/3 pieces (life-size sprigs of millet scare him). These clamps are ideal for cut millet sprigs. After searching for something to attach Jessie's millet aerosols to, I came across a Living World cage that "holds all the brackets." One side of the clamp holds the millet sprayers and the other side has two grooves that sit between the cage bars.
