Review on Signal amplifier Tenda nova MW6-3 AC1200 Home Mesh WiFi system with 2 Gigabit ports. By by Adam Libera ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

The system is really cool, worth the money and beats back in terms of similar devices (without MESH) from other manufacturers in the 5Hz category and Wi-Fi standard 8022022ac. I have a bunch of Mikrotik + MW6 in the bridge. 4 rooms (vest, 100 squares), thick load-bearing walls, a cable from the central router (mikrotik) is connected to the bedroom and the hall. In the center of the apartment there is an impromptu study with a second mikrotik in switch mode (there is a cable to the bedroom from here). All devices (except for the head mikrotik) are powered by POE, everywhere Gigabit over twisted pair. MW6 is in Bridg mode. The head cube is connected to the switch in the office (the center of the apartment in the literal sense of the word), the second cube is in the bedroom, connected via LAN to the switch in the office, the third cube in the hall is also connected via LAN through the head microtic. How wonderful it would be if the cubes could be powered by POE, in my case it would be minus three sockets. Well, Ok, not everyone needs it, but having such functionality, and a feature that fully reveals these cubes, is blasphemy, not to make power by POE. Moreover, having such an opportunity, it would be more convenient to place the cubes where necessary, and not where there is an outlet nearby. I summarize. Macbook is now on my knees, connection speed is 700Mbps, ping to the central router is on average 3 milliseconds, ping to a computer connected via LAN is the same 3 milliseconds. Speed measurement: downloading a multi-gigabyte movie from a computer to a beech - an average of 450Mbps. downloading a multi-gigabyte movie from a beech to a computer - an average of 350Mbps. downloading small movie files from a computer to a beech - an average of 450Mbps. In the case of connecting the cubes to each other by air, the speed drops and everyone will have a different one. I have, from the office to the bedroom (the closest distance between the cubes, + 1 load-bearing wall 30cm, + interroom betan - the average speed is 100-200Mbps. As a result - I recommend to buy. And it is best to set it to Bridg, and Internet reception, Amazon servers and routing can be trusted with the old router.

Pros
  • Simple as a brick. Anyone who knows how to read and does not eat soup with a fork can do it.
Cons
  • Put a little "central", upstream network :) But the problem is fixed. A very serious minus, well, it’s just a global kapets . There is no POE power supply. For me, it's a real pain. Continued in comments.
