Potentially useful product for dry applications but let down by some quality control issues.

Job done but my biggest complaint is the item arrived with black marks all over it. Inside the box you will find a note from the seller asking you to try a small sample first instead of spinning the main spool if you wish to return the item. The problem is that you don't realize until you start untangling the entire product that it's covered in black spots literally to the end and doesn't come off easily. This isn't just factory dust that can be wiped away with a rag. After installing the finish, I completely destroyed a couple packs of Magic Eraser to get rid of all the black spots and give a clean white look. It's a shame because I'd love to use this product in another room, but I can't justify paying $60 for another roll of a product with such poor quality control that I spend so much time on it need to clean it how to install it. . I was looking for a solution instead of installing a quarter round molding after sanding the floor. To close the gaps and hide the edges, this might work well if it weren't for the problems described. I would say it takes a few tries to learn how to lay it accurately. You'll need to stretch it a bit when you stick it on to get a smooth, flush result. It's not reliable, but it's not overly complicated either. I definitely wouldn't use it to apply next to water as the top and bottom of the product won't stick to the surface. The adhesive part runs in the middle to form the right angle behind the product, while the top and bottom of the trim just rests on the surface. It should be good enough to keep dust and dirt out, but I don't see it protecting against water too well. If moisture gets behind the skin, I expect it to become a breeding ground for bacteria there.
