As a multimedia sculptor, I'm always looking for unique pieces for my sculptures. I'm particularly tormented by strange objects - artifacts, unusual stones, bones, gems, anything that might be interesting when paired and then added to a sculpt. I always collect a collection of these items. Most of the time they don't have a hole where I can easily connect them together and that's where these bits come in handy. Once I have a decent amount, I load one of these bits into my drill press and start punching holes. Depending on the density of the material, water is often needed to prevent the item from breaking and to help the drill bit move through the item more smoothly. When the drills no longer go through smoothly, it's time to swap out the bits for others. This set has proven to be well made and reliable. Definitely recommend and will buy more.
