Brass scrapers are every northern motorist's secret weapon. The brass blade cannot scratch the glass but cleans the ice well. The only problem with brass blades is that if you apply uneven pressure, the blade can deform. This means that after about 2 years of use you (like me) may find that the edge of the blade has not worn away. even scratching on the glass because there is a small wave on it. However, I don't think replacing such an item after about 2 years is a bad thing. I'm a little unsure about the construction of this scraper. It has a very long thin handle, which I don't really like. I don't understand why the handle is so long, it's not something you use with two hands. When I really have to use a scraper I still choke on the handle - it would be better to have something shorter, wider and with a more comfortable grip shape. Good product but could be better and expect a replacement after intensive use. .
