Do yourself a favor and buy this scraper today.

Why, why did I have to struggle with plastic bladed ice scrapers for so long?! Every ice scraper should have a metal edge like this one. I had one that I inherited from my father and first the plastic handle broke and then I lost it. I've always kept my eyes open in stores looking for another one but couldn't find anything until I searched Amazon. So glad I did. This one clears ice easily and won't break if it's very thick. Now I'm wondering why other ice scrapers don't have metal blades? Brass

The best scraper! best outdoor accessory

BEST ice scraper! Not really. it is the best. I bought a brass blade scraper a few years ago and was really excited. slowly, over many years, it gradually collapsed until there was little to no plastic left holding the brass in place. I can't complain, he's served me for a dozen years. But it's time for something new. So I started looking for a replacement. I was so happy to find this listing and even bought two. This scraper is larger than my previous one and I like the extra long handle…

Why didn't I know that sooner!

This thing cuts everything out of the frozen dew that freezes on your windshield overnight and is hard enough to remove with a plastic edge scraper. Up to an inch of ice and frozen snow on the windshield. I was skeptical, but the cheap price made me give it a try. And it cuts through the frost like a knife through butter. I wish they had made one with a slightly longer handle. I drive a slightly raised 1995 Ford Bronco. But for most people this will be more than enough. And now that I have…

Fantastic winter tool

Brass scrapers are every northern motorist's secret weapon. The brass blade cannot scratch the glass but cleans the ice well. The only problem with brass blades is that if you apply uneven pressure, the blade can deform. This means that after about 2 years of use you (like me) may find that the edge of the blade has not worn away. even scratching on the glass because there is a small wave on it. However, I don't think replacing such an item after about 2 years is a bad thing. I'm a little…

  • I like nothing, everything is fine

I haven't used this product yet but I've only read that a copper blade is the way to go. Let's see how he behaves in the next frost. Update: Having used this thing 4 times since I bought it, I have to say that it is no different from plastic, anyway it's more difficult to use on thick that form hard ice. Most of these reviews say one hit and it removes the entire length of the ice blade and I call *BS* maybe I could see if the ice is a super thin conglomeration of lungs. It does need a few…

Almost, but not quite what I was hoping for.

They have long handles - that's good. But the grips are a little lighter/thinner than I was hoping for. I don't know yet if they can withstand the pressure of working on hard ice. And the brass blades are obviously significantly thinner than the ones they replace. With two, the edges/corners have already "appeared". and most frustratingly I was able to get them almost flat/straight again with my fingers. Again, I doubt they'll stand up to the hard cutting I'm used to. Let's see how they work…

Ideal when used for the type of ice cream it is intended for.

Don't listen to negative reviews. They don't know what they're talking about or what this blade is for. This blade is NOT suitable for scraping thick, hardened ice. To do this you need a sturdy ice ax scraper like the one from this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R6XAM0C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 target. When a very thin but strong layer of ice develops on a widescreen sign that a heavier plastic squeegee cannot touch, this brass squeegee is the PERFECT solution. It
