Why, why did I have to struggle with plastic bladed ice scrapers for so long?! Every ice scraper should have a metal edge like this one. I had one that I inherited from my father and first the plastic handle broke and then I lost it. I've always kept my eyes open in stores looking for another one but couldn't find anything until I searched Amazon. So glad I did. This one clears ice easily and won't break if it's very thick. Now I'm wondering why other ice scrapers don't have metal blades? Brass is not a new innovation? Plastic has always been brittle, right? Do yourself a favor and buy this scraper today. I've already bought two and my only regret is that I didn't buy a third (for my teenage daughter's car); That will change soon.
