ok not so good

I understand why some people really like these hooks but I have some complaints about how excited they are. The advantages of this hook set are that they are light weight and quite comfortable and offer an alternative to Susan Bates' built in hooks - something I've actually had a hard time finding. Not to mention that they are very beautiful. The downsides for me are that it doesn't slide as expected, it creaks with every pass, and it's generally just a set of plastic hooks. They seem sturdy enough for crafting, but I can't say the material feels premium or anything like that. Once you've found that set of YouTube reviews or whatever, keep your personal tastes in mind. Especially if you are in USA like me and also have to wait 2-4 weeks to receive them. If you don't like plastic hooks, built-in styling, or significantly less slippery hooks, they won't be good enough to change your mind about any of these items. If none of the above bothers you, you might actually like these and I might recommend them. As with most crafts, the tools of choice are more of a personal issue. While they offer built in style and love the looks and comfort they offer, for me I can't say I would choose them over the metal hook again. If only Furl's hooks weren't so expensive.

Pros
  • nice to use
Cons
  • old
